To achieve the goal of a Net-Zero home, we used a robust insulation system that used cellulose (recycled newspaper) in the stud cavities and blanketed the walls with two inches of foam. The insulation systems are designed to reduce energy use and cost and keep you comfortable by eliminating drafts.
