_  “Weatherization” is a term that means improving the energy-efficiency of an existing home. Energy-impacting systems in the house are examined via a home energy audit (2-4 hours.)  Recommendations and options are then given to the homeowner.  Depending on interests and budget, one can choose from various energy-efficient options (see below) —from reducing draftiness by increasing insulation and caulk, to a new solar hot water heating system.

• Seal penetrations:  electrical, plumbing, HVAC (heating & cooling, sealing joints in duct work), sealing attic doors
• Upgrade your insulation in attic and walls
